A clinic with time to listen

Brio Parlor is a small practice for the whole household. Same-day appointments are held back every morning, planned visits are never rushed, and the same clinicians get to know you over the years.

Which visit do you need?

Choosing the right kind of appointment means you get the right amount of time. If you are unsure, pick the closest match — our reception team will adjust it for you.

  1. Same-day visit

For a new problem that should not wait: a fever, a painful ear, a rash that is spreading, a sudden back strain.

A focused appointment on one concern. We examine, explain and agree a plan before you leave, with a follow-up booked if it is needed.

    Typical length
    15 minutes
    Request as
    “Today, please”
  2. Planned check-up

For a yearly review, a child's development check, contraception, or anything you would like to talk through calmly.

Booked a few days ahead so we can prepare your notes and any tests beforehand. Bring your questions — we leave room for them.

    Typical length
    30 minutes
    Request as
    Planned visit
  3. Ongoing condition

For asthma, diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid, mood or any condition you manage over months and years.

Regular reviews with the same clinician where possible, shared goals written down, and medication checked at every visit.

    Typical length
    30–40 minutes
    Request as
    Condition review
  4. Quick admin

For repeat prescriptions, test results, school or work letters and referral updates.

Often handled without a visit at all. We reply by email or arrange a short call-back at a time that suits you.

    Typical length
    No visit needed
    Request as
    Admin request

Good to know

Questions patients ask

Straight answers to the things people most often check before they visit.

Can I really be seen on the same day?

Yes. A share of every weekday's appointments is kept free until the morning. Request early and choose “Today, please”; if the list fills, we will offer the first planned slot or a call-back from a clinician.

Do you see babies and children?

We care for patients of every age, from newborn checks onwards. Wednesday afternoons are set aside for children, but young patients can be seen at any session.

What happens if I am running late?

Let reception know as soon as you can. We will always try to fit you in; if the delay is long, we may shorten the visit to your main concern or offer a new time the same week.

Can someone come into the appointment with me?

Of course. A partner, parent, carer or friend is welcome. You can also ask for a chaperone for any examination — just mention it when you arrive.

How do repeat prescriptions work?

Send an admin request with the medicine names. Allow two working days. If a review is due, we will arrange a short check before issuing the next supply so nothing runs out unexpectedly.

Is the clinic step-free?

Yes. The entrance, consulting rooms and patient toilet are all on one level. Tell us in your request if you would like extra time, a quieter waiting spot or an interpreter.

Who can see my medical records?

Only the clinicians and staff involved in your care. We never share your records with employers or insurers without your written consent, and you can ask to read your own notes at any time.

What should I do in an emergency?

Do not use the request form. For chest pain, breathing difficulty, severe bleeding or signs of a stroke, call your local emergency number straight away or go to the nearest emergency department.
